SAP Fiori - Setup Analytical Apps on S/4 Hana

There are nice walkthrous notes on the http://support.sap.com portal, that can guide you through the process of configuration of analytical FIORI apps on the on-premise system.

The problem is that you have to know about that notes and you have to be able to find them. So this is small collection of those notes relevant for this area.

Main note - with which you problably have to start is Note 2289865.

After you have gone through that configuration steps and you have Hub Configuration of Fiori System (frontend and backend systems are not on the same system) - you probably need Note 2106016 which is just fork for another two notes Note 2356997 and Note 2442132 depending on the version of SAPUI5 you have on your system.

If you want to use analytical apps like Profit Centers or Market Segments you most probably need to activate also BW Queries, which provides data to that analytical apps. This is something Note 2563303 can help you with. This note contains guide how to activate (install) specific BW Query and at the end you can also find list of other objects which needs to be activated (installed) for fully functional Design Studio (backend for those analytical apps).

At the end just one tip - I had to set default controlling area parameter (CAC) on user and this can be done using this procedure

Assign a controlling area to the controlling area (CAC) parameter for your user. You can assign the controlling area parameter under System ->User Profile ->Own Data ->Parameters.
